Hold important stuff to your fridge with our super strong handmade yinzer Pittsburgh magnets.

We start making our magnets by rolling out slabs of clay that we get from Pittsburgh based Standard Ceramics in Carnegie. We then punch out the magnet form, clean it up and let dry. When bone dry, the magnet is ready for its first firing. After the kiln cools, the magnet is unloaded and then glazed by a skilled ceramicist. It is then fired to about 2,000 degrees. After it cools, it's time to apply a decal and re-fire yet again, a third time. We then glue on the super strong magnet with industrial strength adhesive and there you have it, a finished Pittsburgh Pottery magnet.

We have two sizes with different designs. Please specify the size and design.
